Great News

Check the end of this post for a Special Offer!

Almost two years ago, I wrote a post about a publishing company that was rather new at the time.  As is the case with some new things, it didn't last long before they closed up shop.  The good thing about this, however, is that they gave the copyrights back to all their authors. So, even though I had a few books published through them, I retained the freedom to republish these stories whenever and with whomever I wish.  That brings me to the reason for this post.  After more than a year, I've decided to go over my stories, polish them a bit more, and put them back into circulation with another publisher.  This company has been in business for a bit longer, and it seems like they're here to stay.  One of my previous stories is now available through them, with more coming in the near future.  Read on for more:

Chocolate Wars

So ... the short story I'd hoped to have published by now has been slightly delayed.  As is often the case - at least it is for me - the story took a bit longer to develop than I had planned.  But don't fret, I'll be working throughout the night tonight to get it finalized, polished and ready to submit for publishing.  To see what the cover looks like, click the Read More link.

New Short Story Coming Soon

So here we are, slowly creeping up on Valentine's Day.  It's the best time of the year for a romance author to churn out a story or two.  With a little help from a wonderful editor - and great friend - I think I have a really good one going.

A New Era in Self Publishing

If you're an aspiring author like me, you've probably checked into how to self publish your work, whether you write short stories, novelettes, novellas, or full-fledged epic novels.  If you have, I'm sure you've seen them all - from the 'vanity press' sites that will charge you an arm and a leg, to the not-so-scrupulous places that keep most of the royalties for themselves.

Well, I want to tell you about a site that is relatively new, costs you nothing, and you keep a good amount of the royalties for your hard work.  There's just one thing: they don't accept stories over 50k words in length - yet.

My First Post

This is where I'll be posting updates on my writing, available books, plus any and everything else that may be pertinent.  :)
